Choosing Between Them
I recommend the Stefani Sao Joao 8 Liter as the ideal solution for most homes, as it offers the best balance of capacity and performance. The 5-liter and 6-liter Stefani models are excellent for smaller households, while the Dreo Reverse Osmosis system suits those who prefer modern, automated technology. I believe the Stéfani Double Action cartridges are the most important investment for anyone already using a gravity system, ensuring your water quality never dips.
It is important to remember that these clay systems are living tools that require a bit of manual labor. You must commit to regular cleaning of the filter and the reservoir to prevent mineral buildup and ensure the gravity-fed system functions properly. If you are willing to spend a few minutes each month on maintenance, these units provide excellent water with minimal long-term cost.

I’m James Wilson, and I’ve always been the kind of person who likes to know if something actually lives up to the promises on the box. Growing up, I was constantly taking things apart, fixing them, and comparing one product to another. That curiosity eventually turned into a career of testing, researching, and reviewing products with one simple goal: helping people spend their money wisely.
Over the years, I’ve tested everything from electric bikes and outdoor gear to home gadgets, power tools, and everyday essentials. I don’t believe in hype or paid opinions—only honest, hands-on experience. That’s why I created ElectricBikestoBuy.com. While electric bikes are still one of my biggest passions, this site has grown into a place where I share unbiased reviews and practical buying guides across a wide range of products. Every recommendation is based on real testing, careful research, and the same question I ask myself before every review: “Would I spend my own money on this?” If my work helps you make a better purchase and avoid costly mistakes, then I’ve done exactly what I set out to do.
